Overview
Take a trip to Uyuni on your Bolivia Vacation
Uyuni is a small town in the southwest corner of Bolivia lying at an altitude of 3700 metres/12,150 feet on the Andean Altiplano. It attracts visitors on a Bolivia vacation due to its being on the edge of the world’s largest salt flats formed by prehistoric lakes. Other attractions are a “Train Cemetery” where many locomotives were abandoned when the local mining industry faded out and the local wildlife which includes major breeding grounds for flamingos. The town also has a lively street market.

I love learning about Nicaragua's culture and experiencing its Spanish influence in some cities. I was only there for five days, but I'll never forget how delicious the food was and how welcoming and extremely polite the people were.
The Day of the Dead in Guatemala is a great local tradition where people gather to fly giant, intricately decorated kites to honour the dead.
The colourful Spanish architecture, the beautiful scenery, particularly the stunning lakes, and the Mayan ruins are what I love most about Guatemala!
