Amazing experience in Dubai and Maldives
I truly don’t have the words to fully describe my recent trip to Dubai and the Maldives—“amazing” simply doesn’t do it justice. I have traveled many times before, but this trip will stay with me in a special way, largely because of how wonderfully it was organized by Emma Woodward at Goway Travel. From departing Toronto Pearson Airport to arriving in Dubai, continuing on to the Maldives, and returning home, everything went perfectly—we did not experience a single hiccup. I entrusted Emma with organizing our entire itinerary, including where to go, what to see in Dubai, and selecting the perfect resort in the Maldives based on our preferences. Throughout the trip, I truly felt like royalty. We were warmly welcomed at each destination, seamlessly transferred to our accommodations, and taken care of every step of the way. In Dubai, she arranged an incredible guided tour of the city, allowing us to see all the must-visit highlights, as well as an unforgettable desert experience that included amazing cultural experience including amazing local food, cultural entertainment and activities such as dune ride, sunset at the dessert, sandboarding, camel ride etc. The Maldives was a breathtaking experience in itself—from the scenic seaplane transfer to the resort to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that provided the perfect balance after our busy days in Dubai. Thank you very much to Emma for creating such a memorable experience for us. This trip was a perfect gift from my husband for my 60th birthday and my retirement. I will cherish these memories and will gladly recommend Goway Travel to all of my friends. Warm regards, Margarita and Zoran Filinov

She was diligent in keeping me informed, providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the process. Whenever requests arose, she made every effort to accommodate them. wanted to extend my sincere thanks for…
wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the truly extraordinary experience you created for us on our Africa trip. From start to finish, everything felt seamless, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in each destination. Throughout the journey, we consistently felt safe, supported, and incredibly well cared for something we deeply appreciated. One of the most unforgettable highlights was our gorilla trekking experience. Spending time observing the gorilla family was nothing short of magical and deeply moving. We are also so grateful for our guide, Alexis. He added the adventure of visiting the Dian Fossey Campus. That experience added such depth and meaning to our time in Rwanda and made an already once-in-a-lifetime encounter even more special. In Kenya, our guide Alex was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm truly elevated our safari experience. He went above and beyond — offering additional experiences, sharing fascinating insights, and making tremendous efforts to help us see every animal on our bucket list. His passion for wildlife and culture was contagious, and we learned so much because of him. We returned home inspired, filled with incredible memories, and with a strong desire to share our experience with family and friends. We are already encouraging others to embark on what is truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey. Thank you again for your care, expertise, and attention to every detail. The trip exceeded all expectations, and we are incredibly grateful.

Ghana is a Go! Loved everything
I am writing to let you know that my clients returned from their journey and gave glowing reports about the accommodations, tours, and staff. They particularly liked Vivian, their tour guide. Not only was she thoroughly knowledgeable and astute, she was a genuinely great human being, and between her and their excellent driver, made their first time visit one of their best trips.

Travel Information about Morocco

Best Time To Visit

Morocco is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit depends on what you want to experience.

Spring (March to May) is widely considered the most pleasant season. The weather is comfortably warm, the landscapes are lush and blooming, and you can often see a dusting of snow still on the Atlas Mountains. It’s a stunning scene. Spring is also an ideal time for city sightseeing, hiking in the mountains, and desert adventures without the scorching heat.

Fall (September to November) is another fantastic time to go. The summer heat fades, leaving behind sunny, warm days and cooler evenings. It’s perfect for exploring the vibrant medinas of Fez and Marrakech, trekking through Berber villages, or enjoying the golden dunes of the Sahara. The crowds are smaller, too, making it easier to soak up the atmosphere at your own pace.

Summer (June to August) brings intense, scorching heat to inland areas, especially the desert, where temperatures can soar above 40°C (104°F). But along the coast in places like Essaouira and Agadir, ocean breezes keep things more comfortable. It’s a great time for beach lovers, surf enthusiasts, or those looking to relax by the sea.

No matter when you visit, Morocco offers unforgettable experiences. But for the perfect balance of weather, scenery, and cultural vibrancy, spring and fall stand out as the best times to truly enjoy all this diverse and enchanting country has to offer.

Check out our guide to the Best Time To Visit and let us help you choose the ideal season for your Moroccan adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) are ideal. Expect warm, pleasant weather, blooming landscapes, and fewer crowds—perfect for exploring cities, hiking mountains, or heading into the desert.

Plan for at least seven to 10 days to allow you enough time to explore key highlights like Marrakech, Fez, the Sahara, and maybe the coast. If you have two weeks, you can slow down and dive deeper.

For visitors from the U.S., Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia and many other countries, no visa is needed for stays up to 90 days. Make sure your passport is valid for a minimum of six months.

Generally, it is very safe for travellers. Just use common sense. Watch your belongings in crowded areas and respect local customs, especially in conservative settings.

Souks, spices, Sahara dunes, ancient cities, colourful tilework, Berber culture, mint tea, and delicious dishes like tagine and couscous.

Absolutely. Most desert tours depart from Marrakech, often over three to four days with stops in the Atlas Mountains and desert towns before reaching the dunes near Merzouga.

Trains are ideal between cities like Casablanca, Rabat, and Fez. For remote regions, consider hiring a driver, taking buses, or booking guided tours. Taxis and petit taxis work well locally.

The country uses Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Keep some local currency handy for purchases in markets and small towns. Credit cards work in hotels and bigger restaurants. ATMs are easy to find in cities.

The famous “Blue City” is tucked in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. It is just a few hours from Fez or Tangier. It’s worth the trip for the scenery alone.

A riad is a traditional Moroccan guesthouse built around a courtyard or garden. They’re peaceful, beautifully decorated, and often hidden inside medinas. Book a stay at one to get a taste of authentic local culture.

There are plenty to choose from, but some of the standouts include the Marrakech Popular Arts Festival, the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, or Gnaoua Music Festival in Essaouira.

Absolutely. Morocco is just a short flight or ferry away from the southern coast of Spain. Many travellers combine a stay in Morocco with visits to Spain or Portugal for a multi-country vacation.
