Goway hires a local tour group, Jenman Safaris, to lead the safari in the 2 countries. The tour itself was amazing...the lodges that we stayed at were very nice and the food was great (except for one lodge's food). The Goway itinerary was slightly different than the actual Jenman Safari itinerary but most of the sites that we went to were the same as listed on the Goway itinerary. I would use Goway again because their choice of a local tour group was very good...nice lodges/camps and good food and knowledgeable tour guides.

I recently went on an African Safari with my brother-in-law and sister and another couple who I knew. The entire experience was absolutely unbelievable. The complete details were flawlessly coordinated from the transfers to the breathtaking lodges. Our guides Peter showed us Kenya and Maulid Tanzania were very knowledgeable and very sharp eyes for finding the animals.
We were able to see the animals up close, learn a lot about the people, birds , vegetation etc.
We had several sundowners in the bush really added to a magical experience with beautiful sunsets.
I would highly recommend Goway to all my friends, they will not be disappointed.

The dry months from June to September are prime for safaris—clear skies, open landscapes, and animals gathering at waterholes. It’s also the best time to witness the dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration.
April and May bring rain but also fewer crowds and green, photogenic backdrops. For those looking to combine beach and bush, December to February offers warm weather and lively wildlife sightings, especially during the calving season in the Southern Serengeti.

What vaccines do you need before going to Tanzania?
Visitors to Tanzania should ensure that their routine immunizations are up-to-date, and consider vaccinations for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, and tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis. A yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if you are traveling from a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission. Rabies and meningitis vaccinations are also recommended, as is malaria prevention medication.
