From the seemingly endless Atacama Desert in the north to the breathtaking fjords and ice fields of Patagonia in the south, Chile is the ultimate destination for adrenaline enthusiasts and wanderers alike.

Ethereal Landscapes and Scintillating Adventures

Each region of Chile dazzles with its unique geography, promising an array of experiences that resonate with those who embark on Chile adventure travel. The dry brilliance of the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on Earth, offers an otherworldly experience under star-filled skies—perfect for nights spent stargazing or exploring exotic terrain by day. Imagine cycling through salt flats, discovering geysers at sunrise, or hiking amid dramatically coloured canyons.

In stark contrast, the Lake District enchants visitors with its pristine lakes, lush forest carpets, and towering volcanoes. Here, you can breathe in the serene beauty while kayaking across clear waters or trekking the scenic pathways encircling ancient trees. This region is truly a playground for those who relish outdoor pursuits.

The Heartbeat of Patagonian Wilderness

As you venture further south into the captivating realm of Patagonia, you embrace a land sculpted by glaciers and carved by the forces of nature over millennia. A trek through Torres del Paine National Park is essential for anyone seeking the zenith of Chile vacation packages. Witness the iconic granite towers and the azure expanse of Lake Pehoé, while the wind whispers tales from the glaciers.

In this wilderness, adventure knows no bounds. Kayaking amidst icebergs, navigating fjords, or following the paths of pumas on a wildlife safari are but a few of the exhilarating experiences awaiting explorers. For those who cherish indomitable spirit and raw natural beauty, Patagonia's allure is irresistible.

Rich Cultural Tapestries and Culinary Delights

Beyond its natural splendours, Chile’s rich tapestry of culture beckons. Santiago, the vibrant capital, is a hub of modernity steeped in history, offering insights into the country’s past while pulsating with contemporary life. Discover its burgeoning arts scene, delve into its bustling markets, or sample the exquisite Chilean cuisine that blends indigenous traditions with European influences, offering everything from savoury empanadas to the delicate notes of a Carmenère wine.

Chilean cuisine is an adventure in itself. Indulge in the coastal city's fresh seafood, or taste your way through the Maipo Valley's lush vineyards. Any journey to Chile is incomplete without sampling its complex wines, born from the sun-drenched valleys and nurtured by the ancient wisdom of its winemakers.

Immersive Cultural Experiences

La Ruta de las Misiones unfurls another facet of Chilean culture. Exploring historical missions or partaking in traditional festivals provides a deeper understanding of the country's spirited heritage and warm-hearted people. As you engage with local communities, stories of resilience and joy resonate, giving life to the landscapes that envelop them.

Practical Tips for the Intrepid Traveller

For those planning their next Chile adventure travel, consider the diverse climates—ranging from arid deserts to glacial fields—each requiring unique apparel and gear. The best months to visit vary depending on your itinerary, with the summer months of December to February being ideal for Patagonia, while the shoulder seasons offer blissful solitude and affordability.

With a well-structured itinerary, travellers can harness the full spectrum of experiences Chile has to offer. Whether you're booking a complete tour or seeking bespoke Chile vacation packages tailored to your passions, the adventure awaits.

Chile epitomizes the spirit of exploration. Its landscapes and people offer an irresistible call to adventurers at heart, rendering it a destination of endless discovery and cherished memories.

Pastel de choclo, sweet corn baked over savoury meat, olives, and eggs, is a must-try. Pair it with a pisco sour or a glass of Carménère or Sauvignon Blanc.

After spending some time with our agent, we felt that she understood exactly what we had in mind as far as the level of service, etc, we were hoping for. The trip exceeded our expectations. Lori kept us busy(not too busy!) and we had many, many very exciting experiences. Bruce Belshaw

My daughter and I had a wonderful 2 weeks in New Zealand! The country is so beautiful and the people so friendly. Our destination specialist did a great job with planning and organizing the itinerary, choosing our hotels, and organizing transportation. The hotels were absolutely beautiful and we had great views. We felt right at home and found all of the staff to be friendly and accommodating. There were no issues with our itinerary and our excursions we were always on the list. Our transportation was always ready and waiting for us. We want to thank Goway Travel for their hard work and patience with us in planning this trip. Any changes that needed to be made were communicated timely. We also want to thank you for the beautiful weather during the entire 2 weeks it was perfect every day 😀. It was a memorable trip that we will never forget and we will think of Goway when we plan our next adventure. Because it was not just a vacation; it was an adventure!Connie Wenhardt

Brigitta Fuller is Amazing! She was my group coordinator. She understood the assignment and all the nuances I was trying to achieve. The itinerary she curated was fantastic. If you want someone who truly cares about her group and what they are trying to achieve. I will always reach out to Brigitta first for Europe groups. Kathryn Walker

My clients had a wonderful time on their trip to Easter Island. They were very pleased with the Hare Nua Hotel Boutique and especially noted the warmth and hospitality of the hotel staff as well as their excellent breakfasts. Jaime Vargas-Hendandez was an exceptionally gracious and knowledgeable agent, who went out of his way to ensure that my clients had the best possible experience. I will definitely contact him for future bookings and will recommend him to my colleagues.Alethea Kardas

We were just back from an ambitious 42-day grand circle through seven of the ASEAN countries! An itinerary gestating over a period of time, carefully planned and pore over intently all the way through proved satisfying as expected, but the amazing "embarras de richesse" in six weeks such as we've never experienced before truly went beyond our imagination, both in terms of scenery and culture! The vast majority of the local teams who work with Goway provided impressive service throughout our stay, and quite a number of the guides and drivers deserve to be called cream of the crop in their line of work. But ultimately, we owe our destination specialist Taryn a profound gratitude for her insight and for her coordination efforts which made all this possible. When our debit card was not retrievable in an airport ATM Taryn again went out of her way to approve a small loan through transfer to our local guide's bank account, who then withdrew cash from an ATM while we simply paid Goway Travel by credit card through an online payment link. This helped us tremendously through that difficult moment. We will always treasure this kindness on her part.Yuan Lin
