Overview

Take a trip to Central Coast on your Australia Vacation

One hour north of Sydney the slogan of this region of Australia is “Fun starts here!”. Those lucky enough to live there are blessed with a beautiful natural environment, plenty of fun activities, a relaxed coastal lifestyle and a friendly community also available on an Australia vacation.

The gateway cities of Gosford and Wyong are urban districts that fuse together to welcome visitors to the effervescent Central Coast. This precinct includes stunning waterfront locations along both Brisbane Water and Tuggerah Lakes.

The Hinterland

Contouring the western edge of the Central Coast, the Hinterland precinct has a vast expanse of wilderness as well as showcases stunning State Forests and National Parks including the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Old Great North Road, Dharug National Park.

The Peninsula

The seaside suburbs of Ettalong, Woy Woy and Ulmina Beach on the Peninsula offer an easygoing and welcoming atmosphere, with a range of exciting waterfront experiences including boat hire and ferry services.

The Entrance

Always a hive of entertainment, The Entrance is a mecca for family fun and a beachside holiday favorite for generations. There are plenty of opportunities to get active, with bike paths, waterways and so much more to enjoy on Australian tours

Northern Lakes

Offering crystal lakes and sandy beaches, the Northern Lakes area features Toukley, Budgewoi and Norah Head – a water and nature lover's haven. The iconic Norah Head Lighthouse is the pride of this precinct. Learn about her history during one of the scheduled tours.

Sydney and Melbourne are a great combination for first-time visitors to Australia, with Brisbane, Adelaide and/or the Outback added in, depending on how much time you have. Returnees should take in Perth, Darwin and the Kakadu National Park area and/or Tasmania if they can, plus spend some time in the cities they loved the first time around
