An Atlanta native and enthusiastic adventurer, environmentalist, and traveller, my passion for international travel ignited when I was fortunate enough to study abroad in New Zealand in college, thanks to my family's encouragement and support. Initially, the prospect of spending months on the opposite side of the planet felt both exhilarating and unsettling. What a life-expanding experience it was! A natural paradise with a kind and down-to-earth culture, my perspective and life were forever changed. The experience offered me opportunities to explore spirituality through cultural exchange on a marae, be immersed in the natural world through field studies, and question my traditional ideas of what life should or could be. It was my gateway experience for the desire to visit new places and experience other cultures different from my own. I have immense gratitude for having visited over 30 countries since that time. I'm committed to sustainable and responsible tourism, which aims to maximize positive social, economic, and environmental impacts while minimizing negative ones for local communities and the destination.

I've led outdoor adventure trips domestically and internationally, led Habitat for Humanity Global Village trips in Indonesia and Paraguay, and lived in Panama for several months.
I have many!
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness."
"At its best, travel should challenge our preconceptions and most cherished views, cause us to rethink our assumptions, shake us a bit, make us broader minded and more understanding."
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
One of my most cherished memories is spending time in Minca, Colombia, with fellow graduate students focused on a sustainable tourism project. Through community engagement, extensive fieldwork, homestays, and immersion in the community, I learned about the challenges and opportunities that tourism can bring to a small community firsthand.
