Michele Assinck

I originally went to college to study advertising and marketing. After I graduated, I didn't end up in a role related to my field of study. In my free time, I was always researching places I'd like to travel to, and then I thought, why don't I go back to school to study Travel and Tourism and find a job where I can plan trips for myself and others! This is what I have been doing since 2013. I have worked as a travel agent selling cruises and all-inclusive packages, but my real passion is putting together custom trips to South and Central America that allow people to truly explore the country and fully immerse themselves in the culture. My passion for Latin America sparked while completing my co-op at an agency that specialized in this region, and all of my colleagues were from those destinations. I loved listening to their stories about their homelands, and then putting together itineraries for our clients to travel to these places that I was desperate to visit. Since 2013, I have now been to Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Peru & Ecuador with hopes to continue my explorations further throughout South America and beyond!
