My journey in this amazing career began when I saw a couple of passengers who were escorted by a tour guide. It was exciting as they were sharing joyful moments from their trip to the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest, and the excitement in their expressions was unforgettable. In that moment, I realized that I wanted to work in the tourism industry. In Ecuador, I worked with airlines and cruise companies, where I had the opportunity to learn in depth about the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon rainforest, and land services across the Ecuadorian mainland. The experience that I have been developing during this time has opened the door for me to join Goway Travel. I’ve travelled throughout South America, beginning in Ecuador and continuing through Peru, then crossing into Chile. I also visited Cartagena to experience the Caribbean side and learn more about its vibrant culture and warm people. In Central America, I’ve had the chance to explore Costa Rica, and its spectacular Pura Vida spirit has truly captured a special place in my heart. Fun Facts

My passion for travel goes far beyond visiting new destinations to learn about different cultures, connect with local traditions, and experience the authentic spirit of each place. One of my favourite parts of every journey is enjoying the landscapes, tasting local food and beverages; those experiences create memories I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. I love talking with people to learn about who they are, what they enjoy, and what excites them about travel. Connecting on a personal level allows me to create journeys that feel unique and unforgettable.

Favourite Travel Memory

Two of my favourite trips have been to Chile and Costa Rica. When I visited Chile, I decided to travel solo. I wanted to experience what it’s like to explore on my own and learn how to take care of myself while travelling. It turned into an unforgettable adventure. I explored Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas, and San José de Maipo. I love looking back at my travel photos, and now I relive those moments when I share my experiences with my clients. My second amazing trip was to Costa Rica. I explored Alajuela, La Fortuna, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio, and Corcovado National Park. It was simply spectacular to see how such a small country has become a sustainable Pura Vida paradise. The rainforest, the jungle, the landscapes, and the incredible activities offered there go far beyond what most travellers could ever dream of.

Everything was expertly planned, from the drivers to the hotels to the tours to the flights. We particularly enjoyed Hobart and the animal sanctuary, Adelaide and the trip to Kangaroo Island, Melbourne and the evening tour with dinner and drinks, and Sydney with the private boat cruise of the Harbour. There were 4 travelers on this trip. All of us were in our late 70's. We started planning this trip 6 months prior to our travel date and had a lot of questions regarding this trip. Our Goway Travel Specialist, Karen Larrota, always answered our questions in a timely and complete manner. We traveled to Quito, Ecuador, the Galapagos, The Sacred Valley in Peru, Machu Picchu, and Cusco in Peru. Not only were the destinations and accommodations excellent, but every tour guide and driver were beyond excellent. The entire trip went smoothly every step of the way, which was amazing given the fact that there were numerous flights and hotels included in our package. We found out that the tour company that Goway used, Condor Travel, checked on us with our guide to make sure we were doing OK which we thought was very nice but also amusing as we are fairly fit older adults. Would also like to mention that we did a cruise thru the Galapagos on the Galapagos Legend which was arranged thru Go Galapagos - Kleintouurs. This portion of our tour was also excellent as were the wildlife guides and staff. We continue to discuss how wonderful this trip was with our family and friends and how wonderful this experience was. Would definately use Goway for our travel needs in the future.Dianne

My daughter and I had a wonderful 2 weeks in New Zealand! The country is so beautiful and the people so friendly.
