Located in south-central Alaska, Mount Denali, formerly known as Mount McKinley, is the tallest peak in North America. Denali ranks as the third-highest among the Seven Summits, the tallest mountains on each continent, reaching a staggering height of 20,310 ft (6,190 m) above sea level. The mount was named by gold prospector William Dickey in 1896 after President William McKinley; Denali's title reflects McKinley's advocacy for the gold standard.
To truly grasp the expanse of this majestic landscape, one must overcome any fear of heights, board a small single-propeller airplane, and marvel at the view below. Alternatively, visitors with a rental car can embark on a scenic drive along Highway No. 3 (Parks Highway), the main route connecting Anchorage and Fairbanks through the Denali reserve.

Everything was wonderful. Everything went smoothly. The individual tours were wonderful and all the guides were exceptional. A lot of traveling-the flight was very good on Cathay Pacific would highly recommend their airline seats were comfortable and spaced well. Being on an airplane for 16 hours sucks in general, but other than being a little sore from being stuck in one place all was good.
Thank you so much for all your help and the trip was wonderful and everything that it should be!
