Overview
Take a trip to Newfoundland and Labrador on your Canada vacation.
This is an utterly delightful province, with welcoming locals and dozens of tiny, perfect villages that will fill up your social media calendar for weeks on end. Twillingate is a great spot to admire summer icebergs and take oceanfront hikes, while Fogo Island is home to one of Canada’s top hotels, the Fogo Island Inn. In Western Newfoundland, Gros Morne National Park offers up super hiking and a terrific boat ride on what’s essentially an inland fjord. Nearby Woody Point is home to an annual writers/arts festival, which attracts major Canadian talent such as Jim Cuddy. Other noteworthy spots include the town of Bonavista, and the charmingly-named Heart’s Delight and Heart’s Content.
