Exploring the Vibrancy of Bogotá

Begin your Colombian journey in its bustling capital, Bogotá. Nestled high in the Andes, Bogotá is a vibrant metropolis where colonial history meets contemporary culture. Stroll through La Candelaria, the city's historic heart, home to colourful houses, cobbled streets, and the striking Gold Museum. This cultural hub offers an evocative look into Colombia's past, showcasing fascinating artefacts from the pre-Hispanic period.

As dusk falls, Bogotá transforms. Zona G, renowned for its gourmet dining, invites you to savour Colombian cuisine infused with international flavours. Whether you're indulging in a traditional ajiaco or sampling exotic dishes like hormiga culona, Bogotá’s gastronomic landscape is sure to thrill.

Cartagena's Coastal Enchantment

On the Caribbean coast lies Cartagena, a city abundant with tales of pirates and hidden treasures. Enclosed by ancient walls, its historic old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, where pastel-coloured façades and romantic balconies create a picturesque setting. Here, horse-drawn carriages navigate the charming streets, bringing the city’s colonial allure to life.

The nearby Rosario Islands offer a perfect escape for sun-seekers. With pristine beaches and clear coral-rich waters, these islands are ideal for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts eager to explore vibrant marine life. For the best beach experience, swing by Playa Blanca on Isla Barú for powdery sands and azure waves.

The Magical Andes of Medellín

Once synonymous with crime and conflict, Medellín has rebranded itself as an innovative city of the future. Crowned the "City of Eternal Spring," its pleasant climate and green mountains invite exploration. The Metrocable, an aerial gondola, presents breathtaking panoramas as it ascends the lush Andes surrounding Medellín.

Visit the Comuna 13 district, a striking symbol of the city's transformation. Here, vibrant street art and public escalators tell stories of resilience and renewal. Medellín’s Flower Festival, held annually, is a testament to local culture, where colourful parades and elaborate flower displays highlight the city’s dynamic spirit.

You should try a Zen meditation session. Imagine slipping into a silk kimono for the day—carefully tied by an expert dresser, every fold precise, every colour chosen to suit the season. It’s a ritual that feels as personal as it is timeless.

What do I love about Japan? In a word - EVERYTHING. The incredible contrast that Japan offers - new/innovative vs old/traditional, the warm and welcoming people, the incredible rich culture, the culinary wonders awaiting around every corner, the cleanliness, efficiency and safety. It's one of the best places to visit in Asia in my opinion.

Pub Street in Siem Reap, Cambodia, is a local favourite with very inexpensive drinks. It's also a great place to try the local delicacy, BBQ frog.

I love how laidback and relaxed Laos is compared to other countries in Southeast Asia. It's like the best of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand all rolled into one, and then sent back in time 20 to 30 years.

As a travel agent, it was very easy to work with Goway. They were very responsive, especially Osvaldo Gonzalez, even when the client wanted to make in-destination changes a day or two prior. My clients absolutely enjoyed everything about their trip to Costa Rica - they specifically mentioned that all the drivers and guides they had were excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use Goway again for a custom trip to Costa Rica. Shawna Woods Roy

We, three couples, all enjoyed our time in Peru, despite the small amount of time we had, and the fact one person had injury while on the cruise prior to arriving in Lima. We did want to experience Machu Picchu without spending as many days as others usually do, since we had been traveling prior to that already. Kajal at Goway was able to tailor a well packed three-day private tour for our small group of six. Every detail, from the moment we got off the cruise ship, to Cusco, to Machu Picchu, and back to Lima airport hotel, was well taken care of. Kajal was very efficient in helping with the requested itinerary, and in staying on desired budget, as well answered all questions in timely fashion. We were able to accomplish what we were not sure if possible, all thanks to Kajal at Goway. Our experience in Peru was very positive. We felt the tours organized by Goway had enabled us to have great and impressive exposure to Peruvian culture and important historical sights - all 31 hours in 3 days!!! Condor Travel in Peru took care of us every step of the way. Every person we came across was very courteous, willing, and helpful. Help was always there and questions answered quickly via Whatsapp. All in all a great and positive experience we would highly recommend.KM

Mary G. was an absolute pleasure to work with. I partner with Goway often for Europe and typically have my go to rep, so stepping outside of that for a New Zealand itinerary had me a little unsure at first. That hesitation quickly disappeared. Mary stepped in with confidence, handled all of my moving pieces with ease, and truly understood the level of detail I needed to take care of my clients. She delivered a beautifully curated itinerary that exceeded expectations, and most importantly, my clients had an incredible experience in New Zealand. I’m so grateful to have her as a resource and look forward to working together again.Nichole Pierce

Joanna was amazing!!! She was able to set up a ten day trip for me in Sydney in a matter of a couple of weeks. All accommodation and tours were amazing and the 24 hour help center was great and where able to call up the tour company and have them come and still pick be up when I had a mixup with the reservation. Would definitely recommend Goway to any friends and family and will definitely be using them again.Erica Wolff

I cannot sing Erin’s praises enough! She planned an action-packed two-week New Zealand itinerary that hit every single stop on our bucket list. Every experience was truly first-class and luxurious. While I found myself being price-conscious initially, once I saw the incredible quality of the experiences she curated, I knew it was going to be the trip of a lifetime. A huge thank you to Erin and Go Way Travel for making my 50th birthday so epic. We’ll definitely be reaching out for our next big adventure!Michelle

I booked this trip to Adelaide with Goway, after using them before when we explored the 'big' sites of Australia. This time, we went to Adelaide to go to three of the top wine growing areas for wine tastings. We were a small group of 4 people. It was made better as the vendor used Small Batch Wine Tours for all of our excursions. They were fantastic making us the only travelers on these tours. Matthew, the owner, even adjusted our wineries on the last day to go to different place. This place totally marked off everything we were looking for in wine. Ended up buying a couple of bottles. Between Goway setting it up and Small Batch Wine Tours running the actual tours we had a beautiful and seamless trip. not applicable
