Diving into the Rhythmic Heart of Buenos Aires

Start your Argentinian escapade in the passionate embrace of Buenos Aires. This bustling capital, often dubbed the "Paris of South America," is a cultural melting pot where history and modernity dance the tango. As you wander through its cobbled streets, the eclectic mix of French-inspired architecture and vibrant street art in neighbourhoods like Palermo and San Telmo brings to life the city's dynamic energy.

Don't miss a live tango performance, where the intense, sultry rhythms of this traditional dance weave stories of love and life. Coupled with the mouth-watering allure of Argentine steaks at a local parilla, Buenos Aires offers a sensory experience that's hard to forget.

Exploring Nature's Majesty: From Iguazú to Patagonia

Leap from urban charm to natural wonder by visiting the awe-inspiring Iguazú Falls. Standing amidst the roaring cascades, you'll find yourself in the heart of one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The emerald jungle teeming with wildlife adds an enchanting backdrop to this unforgettable spectacle.

For those with a thirst for adventure, the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia await. Picture towering glaciers and the iconic jagged peaks of Mount Fitz Roy piercing the sky. Consider taking a trek in the Los Glaciares National Park, where the pristine beauty of nature is bound to leave you awestruck.

Embracing Local Culture and Flavours

A custom vacation package to Argentina would be incomplete without diving into its rich cultural tapestry. In the northwest, the colourful town of Salta offers insights into the country’s indigenous roots. Sway to the folk rhythms during lively festivals or explore the rich colonial heritage seen in its vibrant architecture.

Culinary enthusiasts can embark on a delectable journey of Argentine wines and flavours. The famed wine region of Mendoza invites you to relish Malbec tastings against the mesmerizing backdrop of the Andes. Pair these robust wines with traditional empanadas for an authentic gastronomical delight.

Patagonian Marvels and Andean Trails

The rugged beauty of Patagonia offers more than just postcard-perfect vistas. It's a haven for adventure seekers looking to carve their path through stunning, remote landscapes. Opting for a custom holiday trip to Argentina allows you to tailor your experience, perhaps by horseback riding across its endless plains or kayaking in crystalline lakes.

The Andean northwest showcases a different charm. Drive through the Quebrada de Humahuaca for its breathtaking sceneries, an arid region filled with cactus-dotted hills and ancient Incan trails, where history and landscape blend seamlessly.

A Closing Note on Cultural Sensitivity and Exploration

Your journey through Argentina is more than just a sightseeing tour; it's an invitation to immerse yourself in a land of stories and traditions. When engaging in custom vacation packages to Argentina, embrace local customs with respect and curiosity, ensuring each exchange honours the rich heritage that defines this nation.

Ready to explore Argentina and write your chapter of adventure? Whether you're drawn by the call of the tango, the silence of the Patagonian wilderness, or the bustling life of Buenos Aires, every step will reveal a new facet of this captivating country.

The best time to visit Argentina depends on the region you want to see, but Spring (September-November) and Autumn (March-May) are generally ideal for visiting Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Iguazú Falls, offering pleasant weather and beautiful scenery. For Patagonia, the summer months (December-March) are best for hiking and accessible trails, though you can visit other times of year with appropriate clothing.

Our 2-week trip to Normandy, Switzerland and Italy after we disembarked from the Queen Mary 2 in Southampton in mid-May was superb. Michael Keon did an amazing job of putting together highlights for us to see and visit with the short time we had. All the train reservations, private and small group tours and transportations were very well coordinated, on time, and usually exceeded our expectations. Drivers were courteous and knowledgeable. Mike did a wonderful job getting everything coordinated, in spite of our almost “last minute” booking. I booked a month-long trip through GOWAY back in 1989 for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, and they were superb then. So I tried them again, and found the entire organization to be even better. Mike was quick to respond to any questions that came up regarding booksings and times, regardless of the 6-hour time difference. Just superb! Although we had a nasty experience in Milan, GOWAY was very responsive and saw to our requests and our needs. Again, Michael Keon is the person who coordinated our travel. I will ask for Mike when I travel again with GOWAY. I recommend GOWAY highly. PJ Wheeler

Goway helped plan our two week trip to Peru and they (Virginia in particular) did a great job. The on-site logistics with Condor Travel went very smoothly, and the trip exceeded our expectations overall. They proactively suggested changes to our initial itinerary which were welcomed. I would recommend them and would work with them again in the future.Kate O'Neill

I recently went on an African Safari with my brother-in-law and sister and another couple who I knew. The entire experience was absolutely unbelievable. The complete details were flawlessly coordinated from the transfers to the breathtaking lodges. Our guides Peter showed us Kenya and Maulid Tanzania were very knowledgeable and very sharp eyes for finding the animals. We were able to see the animals up close, learn a lot about the people, birds , vegetation etc. We had several sundowners in the bush really added to a magical experience with beautiful sunsets. I would highly recommend Goway to all my friends, they will not be disappointed. Thank you to Bijal for the excellent African Safari that you put together for us. You were wonderful.Nancy Hay
