Overview
Take a trip to Stockholm on your Sweden Vacation
The city of Stockholm stretches over 14 islands connected by 50 bridges on the southeast coast of Sweden, combining classical and modern architecture. Stockholm, or the Beauty on Water, is rich in culture and history and is a must-visit on any Sweden vacation.
Discover the heart of Stockholm in the Old Town, Gamla Stan, where the picturesque original 13th-century city centre with its cobblestone streets, alleyways, quaint shops, palaces, and several museums are waiting to share Stockholm's stories. You'll find the 600-room baroque-style official residence of the Royal Family, Stockholm Palace, in the Old Town. The beautifully preserved and outstanding Drottningholm Palace invites you to explore every corner, including the royal suites.
Stockholm City Hall is an attractive building and venue for the Nobel Peace Prize awards banquet with Scandinavia's largest pipe organ. Be sure not to overlook the Nobel Prize Museum dedicated to the history of the prestigious award amid this extravagance of cultural wonder. You'll earn a profound insight into the world-changing achievements as you walk through the museum's hallways, interacting with exhibits that seamlessly weave together the remarkable stories of Nobel laureates, displaying artifacts, personal belongings, and audiovisual presentations encapsulating the spirit and impact of their groundbreaking contributions to humanity. Engaging with these thought-provoking displays of the diverse fields recognized by the Nobel Prizes, from physics and chemistry to literature and peace, will foster a deeper appreciation for the transformative endeavours that have left an indelible mark on human history.

The Festes Majors are summer festivals held in the villages of Andorra. Each festival is unique to the village, with its own distinct style.
The Pyrenean Mountain scenery and tax-free shopping are two of my favourite things about travelling to Andorra.
I love learning about Nicaragua's culture and experiencing its Spanish influence in some cities. I was only there for five days, but I'll never forget how delicious the food was and how welcoming and extremely polite the people were.
Nicaragua is well known for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, lakes, rainforests, and colonial cities. I love how friendly the people are and how delicious the food is! There is always something fun to do in Nicaragua!
Festival de Los Farolitos is an annual nighttime festival held every September in the town of Ataco, where the streets, houses, and plazas are illuminated with thousands of handmade lanterns (farolitos). Families craft them using colored paper, wood, calabash gourds, or jars, each with a candle inside. Although it's tied to the eve of the Virgin Mary’s birthday, it has evolved into a cultural celebration of community, light, creativity, and town pride.
