The Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France is an iconic symbol of remembrance and victory. It pays tribute to those who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. The names of French victories and generals are engraved on its surfaces. At dusk, a flame is lit at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, commemorating those lost in World War I. Inside, an exhibition recounts its history and significance nationally and globally.
From its terrace, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Paris day and night, with its grand boulevards stretching below. You can climb to the top for even more stunning vistas for a fee. Everything was wonderful. Everything went smoothly. The individual tours were wonderful and all the guides were exceptional. A lot of traveling-the flight was very good on Cathay Pacific would highly recommend their airline seats were comfortable and spaced well. Being on an airplane for 16 hours sucks in general, but other than being a little sore from being stuck in one place all was good.
