Overview
Take a trip to Taipei 101 Tower on your Taiwan Vacation
Taipei 101 is a massive skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan, with an impressive 101 floors. It became known internationally in 2004 when it became the tallest building globally, surpassing the Willis Tower. Inside, you'll find a mix of offices and shops, including a five-story mall at the bottom and the Taiwan Stock Exchange on seven floors. Also, there are some amazing restaurants with stunning views on the higher levels.
If you are seeking panoramic vistas, an indoor observation deck awaits on the 89th floor, complemented by an outdoor deck just two floors above. Ascending to the 88th to 91st floors, visitors are treated to stunning views of the cityscape and surrounding mountains. The elevator journey itself is an exhilarating experience, with a screen displaying the speed and location within the building, making the 30-second ascent from bottom to top a memorable one.
