Selinda Reserve Tours

For many years up to 80% of Selinda was used for big trophy hunting. Today, the reserve is very serious about conservation. Hunting has been banned and much of the area is used for photographic safaris instead. The Selinda Reserve is a good place to view antelope species like roan, sable and eland. Cheetahs can be seen in the north on the floodplains and lions also live in the area. Elephants are common, and so too are buffalo, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. The endangered African wild dog is found in Selinda and often dens close to camps.
